Preseli Pembrokeshire Labour Party

Located in South-West Wales, Preseli Pembrokeshire is a constituency covering the upper half of the county. Having lost our parliamentary seat to Stephen Crabb in 2005, we came close to regaining the seat in 2017, falling short by only 314 votes.

Branches and Meetings

The CLP is made up of six geographical Branches (see the list below), plus the Womens’ Branch.

Fishguard and Goodwick Branch
Haverfordwest and Johnston Branch
Milford Haven Branch
Neyland Branch
Preseli Branch
Solva and St Davids Branch

Branch meetings take place every month or two months, while Constituency-wide all members’ meetings take place on the last Friday of each month, with a programme of interesting speakers and discussions. New members can be sure of a warm welcome.

The Executive Committee (EC) meets monthly and has an important role in co-ordinating the work of the CLP, for instance drawing up a programme of speakers for All Member Meetings.

Labour Representatives

Preseli Pembrokeshire has two Senedd Members. They are Regional Senedd Members for Mid and West Wales, Eluned Morgan and Joyce Watson. They ensure that the voice of Preseli Pembrokeshire is heard in the Senedd.

There are currently ten Labour County Councillors for Pembrokeshire, including two Cabinet members.
